I just learned that I am receiving another box from Influenster. This one is going to be a mascara product. However, the brand is unknown. I would love to try Revlon’s new Lash Potion, but I think it might be something from Rimmel. I’ve never tried a Rimmel product so I am excited to see what it may be. I am currently using CoverGirl’s Clump Crusher and Maybelline’s Rocket. It will be interesting to see how this new mascara will compete with these two since these are the best mascaras I’ve ever tried. So stay tuned.
So if you’ve been reading, you’d know that I love to watch many different TV shows. I probably shouldn’t get into more series, but I can’t help it. Influenster asked its members to watch ABC’s new show “The Taste.” It’s on at 9|8c, in case you were wondering. I was kind of skeptical about watching another food competition show, but I figured I’d give it a try.
I found myself cheering for different contestants and intrigued by the blind taste test. Especially the fact that a coach could possibly send someone from their own team home. The show is solely based on the taste.
If you’re going to watch the show be sure to eat dinner beforehand or have snacks handy. This show will definitely have you craving food.
So here is the latest product that Influenster has sent me. (I almost typed scent instead of sent becuase I am already thinking of the scents.) Anyways, I really do love these dish soaps and I don’t say that often. I mean dish soap used to be just dish soap. Now whenever I pour this soap in I breathe in this wonderful aroma of lime and basil. It calms me down as I am doing the dishes. I just turn on Pandora and the time passes by very quickly. You can find this product at Walmart.
I signed up for Influenster sometime last year and I am really satisified with this service. I signed up thinking that I wouldn’t get a “VoxBox” for a couple of months, but not even a couple of weeks later and they had alraedy asked me to take a survey. Next thing I know, I received an e-mail notifying me that I should be receiving a box with a dental product. Who knew it would be Crest Whitestrips. Do you know how expensive those things are? I’ve never tried them for that specific reason. However, thanks to Influenster I was given that opportunity to do just that. So I took the 20 Day Challenge and was mighty happy with the results.
So this post is for those who may be interested in signing up. Don’t be discouraged. I’ve heard people say that they don’t want to sign up for many reasons. The surveys don’t take up to much of your time and it’s fairly easy to spread the word of the products they send you if you’re active on FB, Twitter, Instagram, or YouTube. If I, a first time mom, can do it, I’m sure you can.
I know I have really been neglecting my Tumblr. I am going to try to use it more often. It seems that this is the place where I can really say what I want away from the people I know.
I graduate this December and the days are passing by very slowly. I’ve already taken my exit exam and passed. I’m at the point where my classes feel pointless and it makes it even worse that I have an adorable baby boy at home that absolutely do not want to leave. I can’t wait to graduate, but then I don’t want to have to go through looking for a job and dropping my son off at day care. Since he was born (about three & a half months ago) he hasn’t been in day care. I spend every minute that I’m not in class with him. It’s gonna be difficult for me when that day comes. I’m hoping that my boyfriend (baby daddy) gets a job where I wouldn’t have to work, but then I’d feel like I’m not putting my degree to use. So in a way I want to graduate, but I don’t.
One thing I absolutely cannot stand is when people use the phrase, “That’s gay.” How is it gay? No wonder there’s a lot of people with bad perceptions towards the LGBT community. Why can’t you say that its lame or stupid. I’d rather hear that. I saw a commercial about this the other day and I completely agreed with it.
Tomorrow, my boyfriend and I are taking our son for his first time trick or treating. This is a day we’ve been looking forward to since before he was born. It’s one of his first firsts (If that makes sense?). I know he can’t eat candy, but it’s more about the memories that we’ll have. I know I’ll be taking a lot of pictures and he’ll be able to look back at them when he gets older. I know I was glad that my mom took pictures of me when I was a baby and I hope my son will feel the same way.
I find it annoying when people Tweet pictures of themselves. Isn’t that what FaceBook is for?
Another thing I hate is when girls upload pictures and then criticize themselves in the description. If you really hated your nose in that picture why did you post it up. Stop fishing for compliments. Are you that self-conscious? Or do you just love attention that much?
